The Nasio Trust The Nasio Trust was set up by Jonathan & Nancy Hunt to support the HIV Orphans of Kenya. HIV has devastated many families throughout Western Kenya leaving hundreds of children alone and destitute. It's principle role is to provide love and care for these children. This comes in the form of food, clothing and educational resource (Schooling, Day Centres, etc.). Nancy Hunt says: "We put a loving arm around these children and make sure they know someone cares about them" The Nasio Trust is a UK-based Christian Charity, underpinned by prayer, seeking to express the love of God by supporting projects working with orphaned and destitute children in Kenya. The Trust is registered with the UK Charities Commission under registration number 1104542. Thank you for watching our video opposite. We hope it will give you a better understanding of our work and encourage you to climb Kilimanjaro with us. All the funds raised from our Kilimanjaro climbs go directly to helping these children.

He took up rock climbing whilst at university and instantly fell in love with the mountains. He has climbed Kilimanjaro three times before - every time with Heaveni at his side. He is a keen walker and has climbed all the 3,000ft mountains in England and Wales. His ambition is to climb all the Munros (individual Scottish mountains over 3,000ft). There are 284 of them and he lives in Oxford - So this will be a long term project. He feels the Guides, Cooks & Porters on Kilimanjaro can get a rough deal from many tour operators. He therefore works directly with the climb crew to secure them a better deal. Many of them have become his personal friends over the years.
